Pre fit vs having a barrel spun up

So I’m debating on a new build and was wondering how much difference there is between say a proof pre fit vs having one spun up? Action would be a likely be a kelby, impact, loan peak or something similar so I know they make pre fits for them. Looking at doing a 7prc

I would highly suggest running an Impact NBK with a Stuteville pre fit.

I’ve got a couple NBKs and I’m impressed with them. Have one Stuteville Proof prefit in 6 PRC, and having Texas Custom Rifles spin me up a 6 Creedmoor prefit on a Proof 16.5 blank.

Pre fit it good if you’re not picky about loads or are running factory ammo.

If you want to run a specific bullet t a specific jump/jam then have it spun up.

Both can shoot lights out. I’ve got a few prefits. They hammer. I’ve got several blanks I had spun up. Those hammer too.

I was looking at NBK’s pretty hard seems like you can find them as well. This would be mostly 180 eldm set up like factory ammo. Just a bit better. I don’t see a reason to push a 7prc past 3k really and shorten the barrel life

All my prefits have been super accurate.
