New to me Glock 17

Did a trade and now own this Gen 2 Glock 17. Since I do not know the history, is there anything I should go ahead and replace or just shoot it. I have $300 in it so I do not mind investing a little.

A better trigger might be in order if you think you need one. All of my current ones have stock triggers and I don’t mind them.

It’s a gen 2 which is my favorite Glocks. It probably doesn’t “need” it, but I’d replace the recoil spring and start shooting.

Just shoot it. If there's any issues at all, it'll most likely be old mags.

Just shoot it, It's a Glock so the more rounds you put through it the better the trigger gets IMO. Gen. 2s are great guns, even though I like to Gucci my Glocks out they really don't "Need" anything done to them.

if the mags are from the same era , they may not drop free ... get new mags ... aside from that GTG!
