5.56, 1-7 twist. Start turning money in to smoke and noise. If you want to hunt with it, the fast twist will work with heavy bullets.

You've got it pretty well covered. How about a .224 valkerie.

You are right I don’t have a .224 Valkyrie yet but I don’t have any experience with one either.
Does anyone else? Haven’t even watched too many YouTube videos for that caliber.
Might be a good candidate for a 25-45?

Do some reading on the 25-45 and the valkerie keeping in mind you already have a 6.5 .The choice would be obvious to me.

I have a 25-45 and love it. Slight bit more recoil than the 556 but it’s a Texas game killing beast.

For plinking: 7"-8" 300 blackout with a can and subsonics. Really fun and really quite, at plinking range.

Skip the 224 valkyrie, the market just isn't there to support it and there are other rounds that have more support and do what the valkyrie was advertised for.

My personal favorite is a 12" 5.56 with a 1-6 on it.

The 7.62x39 is just a great round to use. It's great for any thing from hogs down to rabbits. The pistol because it makes it even more handy to carry around and do it fast before the ATF stuff goes into affect.

I went shopping this morning on Palmetto’s website. I bought lower part kit and an upper. Decided after camping last week I wanted a different rifle to go in the tent and in the truck.
I went with an upper that had 1:8 this time. Really no particular reason other than I don’t have one with that twist rate.
This will be my first build of a lower so wish me luck and pray for my wife because she will hear me cussing I am guessing.

Commie trash round, it's ok at best not (great) and the ATF stuff is a joke and has no merit. They don't pass laws. People think they are getting a free stamp and (registering) their pistols lolol.
