    Nosler E-Tips

Has anyone ever used these before and what was your result? I'm itching to try these out on a pig, just can't seem to get away at the right time to shoot a pig at the farm. I want to use these on elk and maybe a nilgai later on.

I've only shot coyotes and a red fox using the E-Tips. I was shooting them in a .223 though. I haven't killed any big animals with them. But I will say they're some of the best bullets I've used in a .223 on coyotes for punching through the shoulder without having any surface splash and the exit wounds weren't bad. Which was good because I save fur.

I know that's probably not what you're looking for in a review but I just figured I'd give my experience with them. I say go ahead and give them a try. I don't think you'll be upset at the results.

I figured I would try to bust a big boar to see what happens to the bullets.

I thought the E Tip bullets were solid copper?
