Thoughts on H&R Ar’s from Palmetto

I may know someone who ordered a blem from Palmetto very recently. Not an intended match gun more of a range fun gun is the intended reason.

A company called Nodak Spud used to make uppers and lowers for retro AR builds. I had a AR built from an M16a1 parts kit and one of their lowers. Lower was good quality. Nodak Spud became part of the conglomerate that includes PSA and now makes stuff under the H&R name, mostly parts for retros. It still basically a PSA gun, which are generally good budget ar15s.

Not a h&r, but I ordered a blem PSA stripped lower and I cannot find the blem.

They remind me of the Ar’s when I was a kid. Ordered some A1 handguards today for it. The rifles are showing out of stock already so I must of got one of the last units available today.

Bought and H&R on a whim 8 years or so ago.
Shoots heavy pills like a match rifle, or rather, as good as I can shoot a match rifle.

Not expecting a match rifle but would be nice if it’s a 9&10 ring gun at 200. I would think it should do that.

I saw a1 blems with 1:7 rifling for about $1100.

Had it out this week, used it as my camping gun. Didn’t worry about batteries going dead.
