    Anyone use Western Powders Hunter?

I have a 300 win mag and my son has a 270 Winchester and they both like Alliant RL22, but you can't get that stuff, though. I picked up 3 pounds of the Hunter with the same lot number at Cabela's the other day.
It has a wide bullet weight range for the 300 and the 270. It is a spherical powder, and they advertise it as comparable to 4350, but their load data for the 7mm08 starts at a 150 grain bullets.
I haven't loaded anything up, yet, but I will use the powder. Just doing a little sounding board action, I guess.

        No. I'm not in a pinch, so I haven't ordered on-line.
I have some RL22, but wanting an option since I'm loading for 2 rifles.
Only have 2.5 lbs, mixed lots.
If you woul run a QuickLoad, that would be great.
        In 270, 130 & 150 gr.
        In 300, 165/168 &180.
        I appreciate the offer.

Case for the 270 is Nosler, the WM is Hornaday.
          Primers are F210 & F215.

                Both barrels are 24".
I'll have to look up the rest.
If you feel like continuing tomorrow, I'll post up then.
                If not, that's ok, too.
                Thanks.

Actually the 150s in the 270 and the 180s in the 300 would be hypothetical.
                  I've not loaded either.

No problem, it only takes a second and it will give you some more data on where to start your load development

I got a notification from AmmoSeek that 5# jugs of RL22 were available for $44/pound equivalent, including HAZMAT, but not shipping. I guess it's coming around, too. (Didn't buy any)
