    Holosun scs

Well , my gen 3 slide just came back from Battlewerx today.
I sent it off to get a gen 5 mos cut done to my gen 3 glock so i could install the new holosun SCS .. no batteries and lowest optic available .. the body sits flush and the glass is basically in the same plane as your irons ... and it's titanium ..

getting old and can't see my irons any more , so deleted the rear and put a cap on the front .. result .. a green dot optic i don't have to chase the dot on...

bring the gun up and as you look down the slide .. the dot is there!! LOVE it!

Sent to Battlewerx Jan3 .. got it back today .. $100 for the cut and $65 for the dlc coating ...

    could not be happier!

This gen3 glock has sentimental value to me , that's the gun used to shoot in competition ..

TR Graham is a glock armorer that used to do gun shows .. he did a full polish job on this gun and basically feels like glass , it basically racks like my STI.. RIP TR GRAHAM.

trigger is under 3lb without any pre travel trickery.. meaning you're still pulling the striker back .

Can't wait to get it sighted in !

well .. the verdict is in ... first shot on paper at 21 feet was a tad off , adjusted and put a total of 15 rounds on target ... Geco 124gr fmj.. bullets just kept going into the same hole ... 14 rounds went into the right side hole after adjustment, which was a breeze, very tactile clicks...

As far as red dot optic (actually green) this is a game changer for me.
bringing the gun up looking down the slide, the dot is just there where the irons would be.. no more looking for it ...I couldn't be happier .

also, even though this dot is auto dimming , it has multi sampling sensors .. it's not just what the solar panel gets or front.. not sure how it does it , but it's always at the right level ... so if you're in a dark room looking at something bright , the dot is nice and visible , if you're in light pointing in the dark it's not over driven . i even tried it with my weapon light and it's dim, turn the light on and the dot is there faster than your eye can actually see it change... turn the light back off and it's dimmed back down again faster than your eyes can transition... it just works and always seem to be at the correct level!

holosun took it out of the park on this one ... and Battlewerks did a fantastic job cutting the slide to make it mos , on a non mos gun ...

finally , i put more rounds on plates .. i have a plate rack , some torsos and various size steel out to 40 yards in pretty much all directions ... it hit point of aim point of impact at all tested distances due to low bore axis and cleaned steel like i rolled back time to 20 years ago .. i just could not miss ..

    Love it!

Just sent a 43x mos off to have it milled and holosun put on. Didn't want to use the adapter plate. Anxiously awaiting it's return....

any of the 19 ,17 size slide mos will work , the mos on the compacts are not compatible ... but they are called the same .. go figure !
i probably won't buy anything with a battery any more ..
