Scope for 30-30?

Has a yellow tint. Hard to see in low light.

I picked up a nice old Marlin 30-30 back in 2020..in a trade… I then purchased an old school.. Redfield 2x7 scope.. at a gun show in Fredericksburg this past spring… I mounted it and bore sighted it.. It took 3 -4 shots to dial it in at 100… and one more to make sure… I gave it to the g-son for Christmas.., He shot a doe with it so far… using Remington 150 grain Corelokts…

Thoughts on putting a scout scope on one? Been kicking this idea around but can't decide. Guess I just need to give it go and find out!

I have a leupold 2-7 on mine and it works great.
