I know this is a bow community, but I wanted to ask if anyone can recommend a gunsmith in San Antonio. I am looking to have a scope mounted on a new rifle and have a barrel threaded on a second rifle. Thanks in advance.

If you’re will to drive to comfort to Apache, there is also the vias muzzle brake shop that does gunsmithing between Castroville and Hondo.
You’re gonna upset a bunch of YouTube personalities with that comment

Tip Burns has a shop here at Canyon Lake and does good work with a fast turn around. Two or three days normally if I take him a gun to bed or thread. He’s been doing it a long time and does all the work himself unlike some of the shops that send it out to get threaded.

Dury’s was sending Vais most of the rifle brake work . David Dury told me they contracted out some work to other places as well.
Op, Tip Burns can do the work you need and it won’t break the bank
