    QD.

I take mine off all the time to make it easier to store and transport, and I have a 18” barrel.

Never had an accuracy issue and shouldn’t if it is quality I would think.

Then you don’t have to worry the QD being off and giving you a baffle strike. I don’t run a town of rounds through mine but haven’t had any issues with direct threads coming loose.

My biggest motivation though was with YHM it saved me 1.5” and 3 ounces and everything I own right now is 5/8x24 so I didn’t see an advantage buying extra muzzle breaks and timing them etc.
I had a baffle strike with an aac and have since gone direct with a half Nelson. I would never go back.

After having multiple cans with WD mounts, I’m converting all of the ones I have for bolt guns from QD to direct thread.

I like the dead air keymo quick detach. Especially when traveling. I just take one suppressor and use it on several different guns. Haven’t had any baffle strikes as it’s a solid attachment.

              I hate my “quick” detach

Pretty much all suppressor manufacturers recommend NOT using crush washers with qd mounts.

I’ve got thousands and thousands of rounds through yhm resonators using qd mounts and shims. Never had a baffle strike

This was my take as well. Never use a crush washer.

Running YHM as well, but Phantom Ti.

Crush washer is a big no-no.

QD mounts here I’ve done both and prefer the QD just so I don’t always have to be installing and removing thread protectors. I use asr and YHM mounts with no issues so far. I have not put much testing to see if accuracy has changed from direct thread or not.
