      Don’t hit the power lines.

I’ve considered that. If it happens I’ll have a lot of targets to move to make the shooting range disappear.

Did a little modification to my shooting bench at the house. I can shoot 600 yards out of my shop roll up door. I got tired of chasing brass when shooting self loaders so built a brass catcher. Switched it from ambidextrous to right handed only. Left hand shooters can build their own bench.

Jealous! Looks like fun. I have a place that I can get to 700. Still in search of 1,000.

                That's nice.
My place is only 1100ish yards fence line to fence line, long ways.

Never shot that far in my 56 years. That would be fun

1,000 yards is a long way for a .44 Mag.

                    Looking good!

That's a pretty cool idea. I have been considering building a shooting house, that is enclose on all sides, with a large window on side towards the target, to primarily catch flying brass. I have put some thought into how to catch brass a couple times, I keep going back to the idea of building a shooting house. I would have to sweep the brass up off of the floor. It would work for shooting off of the bench with rifles and standing with pistols. Your idea looks pretty nice. You might take it a bit farther and make it where it is deeper and then the frame that holds the netting has a bit of an angle. Then the bottom is open and the netting makes a funnel. Then put a garbage can, 35 gallon or 55 gallon drum below the brass catcher and have the netting hang down into the can.

You are getting it set up pretty dang nice.

You have that giant box blind out there without a target on it. You can get a lot longer than 1k with that I'm sure.

Man that’s a goal of mine one day to have a home range beyond 500yards that I can test loads out of with out packing up the guns! That’s awesome.

You can range the telephone pole to find elevation along your bullets trajectory at that distance for the far target to see how close it will be to the lines...
