Lever gun hunting

One my son got this year with his Marlin in .375 Winchester. I wish he had laid the gun on the buck !

I did the same thing. I wish I had laid my rifle down on the buck but I left it in the pop up and carried my pistol with me when I went to check on it.

I haven’t hunted with it in years, but my Big Bore ‘94 is going with me next time I go. I bought it new in 1978 or ‘79. It has killed many deer !

I have my Dad's Marlin 30-30 that my grandfather gave him as his first rifle. He took his first deer with it. It was my primary hunting rifle took my first deer and lots more after until my early 30s. It is now my son's rifle (12) he took his first deer 2 years ago with it on the last hunting trip we had with my grandfather before he passed. Hoping to see the rifle get passed down for ages to come.

I took two nice bucks this year with my 30AS. Economy 336 Marlin. All I could afford in 1987. Since I bought it it has helped me take over 20 deer. It really loves the lever revolution ammo.
