    Accuracy issues with suppressor

I have an AR style 6.5 grendel with 12" barrel. I had it sighted in and getting 1" groups @100 with standard flash hider. I recently got a Dead Air Nomad LT suppressor and had the xeno flash hider installed. Now I am getting 2.5-3" groups both with the suppressor or just through the flash hider. This is using the exact same ammo. Any ideas what is causing this and/or what to do to remedy it? TIA

Dumb suggestion but try to clean it suppressors really make them dirty.

Try changing muzzle device back to what you had to see if any changes occur.

I had an experience where a muzzle device was causing some crazy groups as soon as I switched groups went back to normal. You could possibly be getting the slighted contact on the muzzle device that’s throwing the bullet off some.

Does that flash hider need to be clocked in relation to the suppressor?

I would check for thread concentricity. I have a lot of different cans and the only one I’ve ever had cause groups to open up was getting light baffle strikes due to a poor threading job.

If anything most of not all of mine help group size rather than the opposite.

I'm almost thinking a light strike hitting the hider or got a booger on the muzzle during installation??

Shouldn't have opened up that much switching hiders??

I have encountered the same issue with a Palmetto upper in 300BO. After a few light baffle strikes, lots of other tuning and things, I chalked it up to a less than stellar thread cut on that barrel.
