Inherited 3 guns recently. Don't know much about any of them as far as worth. I found the year of mfg. but looks like values are all over the spectrum. I will never shoot them I am guessing and have more guns than I need. Opinions appreciated. 1. Winchester 94 in .32 SPL 1951 MFG 2. Ruger Vaquero 45 Long Colt 1997 MFG with holster n gunbelt 3. Colt Detective snubnose .38cal 1955 MFG Thanks for any and all help.

I'm sure there's a more obvious place to go for firearms appraisals but the first thing that comes to my mind is to go to a place that regularly auctions them. Two places I can think of that are fairly near you are Vogt Auction in San Antonio. In fact, their website shows they are having an auction of firearms and coins today at 1:00 p.m. Perhaps you might check out their website and see if there are any similar to the ones you inherited. The second place that comes to mind is Burley Auction Gallery out of New Braunfels.
We've traded with both auction houses (although not on firearms) and have had good experiences with each one.
Note: Vogt Auction advertises that they do appraisals. I'm not sure about Burley Auction, but I bet you could call and ask.

You might trade them all for a new Hoyt. Some great gun shops near you might give you decent money for them but do your research and see the current value. Check out Collector Firearms. They just opened up a shop in Austin. The original store is in Houston.Last edited by Buzzsaw; 10-29-2022, 06:10 PM.

Value on your older Vaquero could be in the $700-900 range depending on barrel length and condition. They sold new for around $450-480 way back when. A Bisley could easily go for $1400-1500 depending on year and condition. My Bisley cost me under $600 when I bought it about 20 years ago. Actually I bought 2 and one was in 44 mag that I gifted by brother for his B-day.
