I was going to ask about that. Doesn't make sense to me to have the 223 be a 1/8 twist and the 22-250 be 1/14. But I'm no gun guru.

I'm in the market for a 223 though, so I'm good there.

That and a 22” barrel.
I like a 10 twist and a minimum of 24” of barrel.
When Rem came out with the CDL SF Limited in 22-250 they advertised it as having a 12 twist instead of 14 twist like their other 22-250’s. I ordered the first one I could find. Got it in and checked the twist. Friggin 14 twist and i was pizzed.
Called Rem the next day and the guy says “Yeah that’s a misprint. Sorry, they are 14 twist.”

Eh, with the amount of people running suppressed these days, I think the slightly shorter barrel was probably a good choice on their part.
