Does anybody know a gunsmith in the Central Texas area that knows lever guns.I' ve got a Marlin .44Mag that wont feed.

Is it an 1894 or a 336? If it is an 1894 should be pretty easy to find a decent Smith if it is a 336 they only made them for a couple years and parts will be hard to come by. When you say won’t feed is the cartridge not coming out of the magazine or not being elevated into the chamber? Did it just quit working?Comment

Check out Steve's Gunz in Lampassas. 512-564-1015. He is known for his work on Rossi lever guns but I believe he is well versed in Marlins as well.Comment
