Just picked up a 13.7” P&W SOLGW and looking to put an LPVO on top. Does anyone have experience with an of the following and what was your thoughts?

    -Vortex Razor HD II-E 1-6x

    -Trijicon Credo HX 1-6x

I have the vortex viper PST Gen 2 1-6 which is basically a step down in price and glass quality of the razor. Glass quality is good - with the cantilever mount the optic height is just about perfect. Clarity is great, illumination is super bright, and the eye relief and eye box are generous. I’d assume the razor is even better in all these categories.

The one big con on my optic and the razor is the weight. These things with light, Foregrip, loaded mag, and sling make the rifle 9-10 pounds.

I've got the Razor HD II-E. Ran it overseas. Almost my whole team converted to them. Great FOV at 1x. My only caution is that with Vortex products you may need to use their warranty. Now the warranty is great. I've seen two II-Es go down, but Vortex immediately took care of it no questions asked. Would I get another one? Absolutely, just put some BUIS on there as well.

The Gen II-E has been notorious for not being as robust as the Gen II. I’ve seen way more Es go down than the original Gen II. Personally I’d take the weight penalty of the Gen II and stick with the more robust optic.

Don’t overlook the primary arms units. I looked through one the other day and was really impressed with it.
