    Larue Enhanced Siete

Anyone else signed up on the Siete list long ago and now receiving an early shot on the Siete.

While I have not seen a Siete rifle in person, understand various models have been visible at different gun/shot shows in recent years. I can also say that all the Larue products I own, whether a complete rifle or components used in a build, have always worked flawlessly for me.

Look forward for the opportunity to get behind this rifle.

I'd expect it to be a solid rifle. The price point is pretty good considering it includes a second barrel in your caliber of choice.

I've been thinking about putting the deposit down on it all day today.

My only hold back on it is that it is ugly as hell.

I really thought about it because i'm a fan of their older products. Now days I don't want to wait indefinitely, so i only buy second hand. For me, the Siete doesn't really offer more than i could get from another brand with a know wait time. I would have bought a Tranquil as well but people are waiting over a year just for them to be made, then another unknown wait from the ATF.

Switch barrel rifles just don't make since to me I guess. Sure you can swap from the mandatory 6.5CM barrel to a 22-250 or maybe even the .260 REM (why?), you're scope isn't going to be sighted in for the new barrel.

Putting an AR stock on it makes even less since.

I like the idea but won't be a buyer until it is offered in long action calibers.
