    Sig P322 fans?

Anybody have one of the Sig P322 in 22 lr? I’ve been thinking about picking one up. Pros? cons?

    It's all about the trigger...

I’ve seen a lot of big name YouTube shills say it’s awesome and a lot of small name YouTubers say it’s a piece of junk. Barrel leading issues, magazine issues, light primer strikes, picky on ammo...first gen sigs you want to stay away from.
On the other hand it’s only 400 bucks and you may get a good one...I’m holding out for the compact version.

I want one really bad. The reviews about the fouled barrels are what is holding me back at this point. All I really shoot is SIG and I'm sure I will own one soon. I love the hi-cap mags, optics ready slide that is designed for the weight of the sight, and it's suppressor compatible. It's probable the ammo they are using causing the issues. I have again talked myself into another gun, LOL.

Barrel fouling with soft lead bullets? Say it ain't so.

Ballistol on all my .22 rimfire guns as well as the PCP guns.

I've been debating a semi-auto .22 lr for a while now and the Sig version has peaked my interest. I may take the gamble on a first gen.

I know I feel ya, a suppressed, red dot, weapon light, 20rd mag 22lr sounds like a winner to me, I’ll probably pick one up too haha, I’d take a p365 sized version with 15 rounds all day long tho cause it would fit in a chest pack with a full length suppressor like my ruger sr22

Haha, I thought the same thing but apparently this is abnormal and excessive leading

I'm just guessing here but I think his sustained rapid fire heated the barrel to the point it was melting the lead bullets and leaving melted lead behind. That's what I am seeing on the muzzle.
Even so, a cleaning and coating of Ballistol will slow that down. From looks of bore scope pics there is nothing I can see wrong with the barrel inside when he started.
