Had to replace the locking mechanism. $65. Was not covered under warranty, only fire and burglary are. Took off the I side door panel, 3 screws hold it in place. You can call them, they are based in mansfield.
Did just the opposite on mine. After 2 mechanicals crapped out, I replaced with an AMSEC ESL10XL. Going on 15 years and not a single failure. Only on the 3rd set of batteries.
And to the jackwad spouting off about cheap safes while it’s not a Grafunder or anything of that caliber, my Winchester Silverado series weighs more and has better ratings that most of the other well known brands.

How hard are these to replace yourself? Have a liberty fatboy that is picky to get to open with a manual lock and thinking of something to swap it with. Hate taking 10minutes spinning combo and playing with handle for it to decide to open.
