    375 Ruger

Does anyone own a rifle chambered in 375 Ruger? If so can you give me your personal experiences with your rifle/round such as accuracy, recoil, carry-ability, reloads more/less efficient than factory. I’m looking for something larger than .30 bore and was toying with idea of a 358 Norma but reloading components are almost as scarce as ammunition. I own 358 Winchester and 35 Whelen in mid bores and can get my Whelen to 2850 with 200 grain bullets in my reloads. I don’t shoot long range(300 yards and under in hunting situations). Looking for that next step up in power/performance.

    I have a cheap Mossberg.
1" @ 50 is pretty easy, never shot it farther.
Haven't done any reloading for it.
Recoil will thump you, it's a little sharper bite than the HH, but not any worse than any of the other big magnums.
Carry-ability is much better than a 7mm Sendero........

375 Ruger is a high pressure round and loud, recoil was minimal and accuracy was very good. I sold mine and stepped up to a 416 recoil was more but it is quieter and just as accurate with groups around 1".

I’ve got a 375R. I like the 300gr Sierra Game Kings loaded over Reloader 15. It shoots very much like a 30-06, just bigger.

There was a 375 Ruger for sale recently on Texas gun trader.

Same rifle about the same thoughts. It’s got to be an excellent hog gun
