Stripped Screw on PDP

Just picked up a PDP and ordered one of their optic plates for the 507c. I was removing the one that comes from the factory with their little hex key they provide, and stripped out one of the screws. I called Walther and they recommended getting those ez out stripped screw removal set. Fast forward and now I have one screw out and one very stripped screw that I cannot get out. Didn’t know if anybody had any ideas or someone on here was particularly good at removing a stripped screw.

Could you cut a slot across the top of the screw, maybe with a dremel tool. Then you could use a small flat head screwdriver.

Torx head. Hammer it in. Worth a try.

If you have access to a drill press just drill the top of the screw head until it pops off. There usually is enough left after taking the mount off to grab with pliers to unscrew the rest. You can also try a tight fitting torx bit in the in the drill press. Have someone bring the chuck down to the screw and apply lots of pressure. Then try loosing the screw turning the chuck by hand. This keeps the bit from raising up out of the screw. The proper Allen wrench using this method may still work as well. If you have a set of left hand twist drill bits they will often walk the screw right out.
