What Long Range Rifle Matches Are You Shooting?

Just got back from the Competition Dynamics Steel Safari in Logan, NM.

Great hike-and-shoot match. 3 days, unknown targets, unknown distance, unknown positions, no reengagements, out to 1400 yds. 2nd time at this particular event and October will be the 4th time at the Team Event.

Sample stage ..

5 minutes to find and take 1 shot at each.

3 short targets (on the front hill) and 3 longer targets out at 600yds (past the white-ish hill).

The longer targets are low enough that you have to shoot kneeling or standing tripod, as they disappear from view if you go prone.

Ive heard a lot of good stuff about this match. I shoot mainly PRS matches and will be at Punisher Positional in Kansas, then the Hornady PRC match in Utah, then back to the Impact match in Oklahoma in August.
