I live in town so I don't keep a rifle in my truck.

I work from home and park in the garage. Really Only drive from home to the ranch, so one of my SBRs is usually in my truck.

Mines a standard Mossberg Maverick with a box of slugs, some buckshot, and assorted bird shot. Two seasons ago my rifle acted up on a morning hunt and I ran back to the truck to finish the hunt with it. Shot a big bodied East Texas buck at 48 yards with a slug that hunt. Pretty cool experience

Right now it’s a Turkish made low priced 12 gauge slug gun. If I lose it, I haven’t lost much.
