Good looking rifle. I think I’ve seen a pic of it before.

How do you like the 4.5-22 LHT?

I have a 3-15 and like it and I’m considering getting the 4.5-22 one day

I like it! Lots of scope for the money-

Likes:
-locking turrets
-precise and repeatable to 800yds with confirmed loads
-usable reticle at low power and center dot aim point
-good image quality and light gathering

Dislikes:
-stiff mag ring
-reticle only has windage marks across every 4moa down the tree; kinda spaced out. I prefer the Leupold Impact series more so for an MOA tree style.

I just had McWhorter Rifles build me a 7 sprc. Should arrive this week. Velocity was 2900fps during their custom load development out of a 22" bbl. This was with 180 VLDs.

I forgot about the 7sprc. That’s some good velocity numbers from a 22” with 180s. You happen to know what powder they use?

I would like to think that hornady will be making factory ammo for this in the not so distant future. Might be one of the better choices. I’ll add 7sprc to the list!

Also I know there are more of you guys running 7mm out of a 20 or 22” barrel. Don’t be shy let me know what velocities y’all are seeing in the real world!

Heck I’d be interested to know how fast y’all are slinging the lighter bullets in a 20” barrel.
