a Springfield XD? I bought new sites, it says a hammer and punch. But I heard XD are hard and take it to a gunsmith. Is this true?

the ones I've tried are extremely hard. so far, they haven't budged. I quit, I was afraid I'd mare the pistol.

They are not easy at all....if you do it yourself make sure you have a very sturdy vise, brass punch and a big hammer. I wont do another one...ever

No help drifting the old sights out, but freeze the new sights to put them in. It works on piston pins so it should help with the sight dovetails.
