Interesting. I was assured by many on this forum that if you don't have to buy ammo every time you go hunting, you are a hoarder who is causing ammo shortages.

Itβs hard to hoard when they only see you 2.. 3.. 4 boxes at a time... The only ones I know that do that are several fellas that all work together and resell it... Itβs getting too expensive for them to even that now...

I agree. I was referring to the idea that if you have ammo on hand you're hoarding. If you wait til you need to hunt to buy ammo, you're too late.
Reload. If you don't already do it, start. Buy stuff when you can get it for realistic prices. I started in 1973, still have the Rockchucker I started with. Buy stuff in bulk, and you will never have another ammo shortage. I am so far gone I even cast my own bullets. I have a couple of tons of lead saved up. Is that all necessary? No. But I don't have to worry about not being able to shoot anything I own.

The only thing I ever reloaded was 12 shotgun shells... Iβve never reloaded rifle or pistol ammo... It was too cheap... It isnβt now.. but Iβve got enough...
