    Rifle stock(Aggie)paint scheme help

My daughter is fixing to walk the stage as a official Aggie graduate and as a graduation gift I’m having her a 280ai built. My current vision for the stock is to start with a all black and introduce the maroon in on it in a “Yet to be Determined” pattern….finished off with a shot of grey spiderweb on top. I’m currently in search of a pattern scheme for the maroon on top of the black stock. Thanks in advance

I wanna see this when you are done. I never went to A&M but grew up in the area and graduated from high school across town.

Who’s building it? They should have plenty of options.

Heck during the APR group buys each year several people do A&M color schemes.

Check with what Horizon firearms has done on Aggie stocks. Derrick owns Horizon and probably can’t do the stock due to them being so busy but I’d imagine he would be more than willing to share ideas.

Blackland Precision….and he has in fact provided me with multiple options, but I’d be doing myself, and my daughter’s build, a disservice by not exploring other ideas/options. Kinda like going to 1 car dealership and feeling that you you have no other options except what they have in inventory. [emoji2369]

When I was having my APR gun built, they told me to go on Twitter and look at their page and other gun builders page to see what people are doing. I created a Twitter for that sole purpose and found what I like. I recommend doing that.

No help but definitely sounds like a neat idea. Congrats to the daughter and Gig ‘Em!

Guess I’ll fire up the Twitter account and work from that angle as well, that’s a great recommendation. Thanks

Grey/black/maroon was my mindset for coloring, I like what you did with it. Thanks for the pic

No recs but congrats to your daughter. I’m class of 2007, met my wife and several lifelong friends there. It has opened so many doors for me. It changed my life for the better in dozens of ways. I have no doubt it will do the same for her.

                            That’s a great gift!
