The police don’t get dispatched to a vehicle negligence however 99.999% of the time that is exactly what happened. When a friend says he was in a car accident, do you immediately correct him and say it was not an accident?

The words negligence and accident are virtually indistinguishable. The negligence is the cause and accident is result.
Just because society uses the two words in the same manner doesn't change the actual definitions. The definitions are not the same. One carries responsibility the other does not.
Negligence is the cause, A COLLISION is the result. They call it an accident until its ruled otherwise....ask me how I know

I want to make sure we are understanding you correctly. Are you saying that you shouldn't treat a gun as if it was always loaded or saying that if you are going to follow the first rule of gun safety it might as well be loaded? Legitimately asking the question, not being a smart ***.

My buddy is a fanatic about keeping guns of any kind unloaded. But I've also had the firing pin hit on an empty chamber on his rifles when I needed to shoot something more than once. So why not just load when you leave the house and unload when you get home if you're worried about accidentally shooting in your house by accident? Make it a habit it's not like dropping the magazine and pulling back the slide when you get home takes a lot of effort.
