wanting a semi auto shotgun

So it's been 20 plus years since I've owned a shotgun, and I'm sure times may or may not have changed much, so I'm thinking I need to add one to my safe. I do not care to hunt birds with it and am more likely to hunt deer, hogs, and shoot the hell out of raccoons with it. I don't know what's good other than your top brands, Bennelli, Beretta, Remington, and such, but I don't want complete junk either. I would like to spend between 500-1000 dollars. What are some good options out there? Thanks in advance.

Beretta a300/a400 preference to the a400 if you can spend a bit more.

I wouldnt look at a newer Remington if you don’t want junk. Franchi makes a well made semi auto, for reasonable price tag also.

The beretta A300 is a great one for the money. I would take it over the A400 all day. My son has been shooting the 300 since they came out. I have had A400's. Would take the 300 over it if I ever buy another beretta. I have had great luck with my tristar G2 Viper Bronze guns. Lots of options in that price range used.

The MAIN thing is shoulder all your choices & get the one that feels & fits you the best.

Agree with the others look at the B's Remington is far from what it used to be in the shotgun category. I could think of alot of other guns i would go with before a remmy.

For your price range, I would stick with a beretta.

I would also consider jumping all over than M1 depending on condition.

Haven't heard if the op is interested or not but condition is great with manuals and original case. Having problems getting pictures to load.

$900 a reasonable drive from Allen would do it.

Typhoon. It’s an ar15 12 gauge. Cheap. Shoots good and is hail on the hogs.
