Get it. One badarse hog slammer.
    I wouldn't take for my custom 338WSM
If you are recoil sensitive you might want a brake on it.

Caliber is a caliber. It’s all about the brand and model. Winchester model 70, all day long.

If you don't handload I'd recommend passing. Ammo will be very hard to find and very spendy.

I do hand load and I'd pass. The .325 / 8mm bullet is going to be in limited supply and options.

As a handloader of custom rifles a big 30 cal or medium .338 bullet will do anything the 325 will do.

It's was Winchesters answer to a question no one asked during the height if the short mag craze...imo

This. I’ve always thought it was a cool round, but lots of more readily options out there.

Pass. Ammo is near impossible to find even before this mess.

Don’t forget Winchester left a lot of guys hanging with the super short magnums. The guns are out there, but the ammo isn’t. I’d pass too.

325 WSM was Winchester's answer to the 338-300 WSM wildcat that was gaining so much popularity. I was one of the first people to ever have a 338 WSM made. The reamer and and loading dies were custom made for me. Loading dies were made for me by RCBS. It was a few years later that SAMMI came out with specs for the 338 WSM and it's name was changed to 338-300 WSM and shortly after that the 325 was brought forth.
You will not find this die set anywhere else that i know of. These could be a one off.
If you do decide on getting the 335 and are going to reload you can make cases from factory 300 WSM using the 325 dies and trim to length. Best powder for these short fat rounds is Win 760 and H414.

I have an A-Bolt in 325WSM. It suits me because it is a lighter make. Likes 180gr.

Awesome #s, but rounds and bullets were hard to get 5 yrs ago. If I sell another one of my rifles, it would likely be this one.

I have a M77 Allweather 7Mag that is my favorite and overlaps the 325 too much.
