Shield EZ or Walther CCP M2?

I need to get my wife a pistol that is easier to cycle. Anybody have experience with both of these pistols? How do they compare? Is there another easy to cycle pistol besides these two?

The shield is fairly easy. The shield easy is extremely user friendly. I messed with one the other day and was really surprised.

I have the EZ in 380 and 9mm. My wife can use both with no issues. It is very EZ for her to work the slide!

      No experience with the Walther.

Years back I got my wife a sccy 9 mil. They are made in Florida and work real well easy to cycle. Decent price too. If it matters you can get it in a girly color for her.

My mom has a Shield EZ. My wife has a Shield (original, non-EZ). I have a Walther PPQ M2, full size 9mm. I really like the Walther. I don't know about the CCP M2 though. I need to find one to handle, I guess. More importantly, I need to get my wife somewhere to handle the EZ and the Walther side by side to see which she prefers. She wants something easier to rack than the original Shield.

My wife has the Sig P238. Very easy to rack. That is the main reason we got it for her. They also shoot lights out.

Another vote for the EZ. Got one for my wife several years ago after shooting a buddy's. I ended up basically stealing it from her I liked it so well. Sold her P238 to buy a second one. Both in 9mm.

I bought both for my daughter. While I was shooting each, The magazine "fingers" are VERY sharp and felt like thumb slicers. She picked the EZ in .380 and loves it. I may be buying one in 9mm for my 70 year old hands

We were at Scheels a couple weeks ago, so M.C. got to look at all the pistols. She ended up liking the Sig P365 best. Smaller than the Shield EZ. Not quite as easy to rack as the EZ, but not terribly different. Much easier than the regular Shield that she's had for years. I bought a laser target training deal so she can practice at home. You have to rack the pistol before each shot. Good practice for trigger control as well.

I have a first gen ccp. I wouldn’t buy another one. The trigger is horrible and takes an engineering degree to take it apart.
