Still sitting between 2-3 weeks for most. You use one of the names they decided not to approve or possibly put some weird info in there?

3/12 check cashed 11/1 I was approved. That’s 234 days on a SBR form 1

There is no reason or logic when it comes to the aft, sadly. Maybe some of those guys are selling them so they are telling people the wait time is low so they are more willing to buy??

i doubt it. Most every guy on the F1 boards i know is making for their own use. My last can took maybe 15 days. About to submit another form tonight

What ive been seeing on the F1 boards, as long as you dont mess up the paperwork, 3weeks seems about average

Got an email yesterday asking for pictures of the parts I’d be using for my Form 1 build that I submitted for in DECEMBER!

I had all but assumed the application/funds were as good as gone.

Dear ATF,

I cannot provide photos as it is illegal to have parts with intent to build without a stamp. Please approve my stamp so I can then move forward.

150’s reply above yours scares the heck out of me because I actually sent them pictures. But I went the solvent trap route from JK Armament and everything I researched said it was ok to purchase before getting approved.

With everything that’s happen the last 30-40 days with form 1’s who knows what’ll happen. Plus those asshats change their language and wording every year to fit their agenda… Initially they seemed like they’ll only be approving people providing photos of the machining to actually make a can from scratch with the intent to run all these “solvent trap” companies out of business. Which they essentially have done to a big chunk of them. Supposedly, a few senators contacted them and they have eased up but no idea how true that is.

If I had to guess you’ll probably be denied because you are doing exactly what they are trying to curb (but don’t worry everyone was and I’m not saying anything negative about it and just relaying what seems to be the consensus). However been seeing some people get the thumbs up with solvent traps post “rule change”. Also, you ordered your stuff because they change the rules.

Who knows at this point besides the Fact the ATF is trash and should be eliminated yesterday
