.300 Win Mag Scope Question

I’ve always been partial to a 4.5x14x50 on a 300 for a field rifle. I ran one on a 338 for years and it was the best all around optic I’ve used. I run one on my .25-06’ Sendero as well. Let’s be honest you can easily shoot 2-3x at 100 yards on medium sized game, by the same token 14 can get you to the 1/4 mile mark plus with ease.

3-15 for sure but I’d personally go 4-20... that 300 can reach out and touch something from a loooong ways away. Gonna be a sweet rig

I have a vx5hd 4x15x44 on a 30/06 and a vx6 hd 6x18x50 on a 308 and the are both very good

I think you would be happy with the 3-15 5HD. I have one on my 7/08 and it’s some sweet glass. I was in the market for a scope for my 300 a few months ago and decided on a Zeiss V4 in 4-16x50. Really pleased with it so far.
