Need Pre 64 Win 94 Rebuild Info

I have a 94 Winchester 30-30 that my papaw bought new in 1955 or 56. Rifle has been a workhorse most of its life between my grandfather, my dad, and my uncle. Some of the screws and pins in the receiver are mangled somehow and the lever is kind of loose but is also kind of hard to open and close. More so than other levers Ive had or used so I assume some of the internals are probably just worn out. I would like to have this checked out sometime and have the screws and pins replaced that need it and any internals as well. Is there somewhere that I could get parts for the pre 64 rifles? I would like to pass it down someday but also want to enjoy it while I have it and for it to be able to be used when its passed down and not just a decoration.

    Thanks,
    Brian

Numrich gun parts should have anything you need.

Hey thanks! They show to have a good bit of stuff available. I will bookmark them so when I tear into it to get an idea of what I need I can check back.

If anyone has any other places like this please let me know!

      Thanks!

Turnbull restorations will make it better than it was when new if you’re interested in that route. It won’t be cheap.

Numrichs is probably the best parts place.

Thanks! I may go that route but Im not sure yet. Im worried I may not want to use it if they restore it "too well" I definitely want it fixed up, just not sure to what extent yet. They do some great work for sure!

            X2 on Numrich https://www.gunpartscorp.com/gun-man...-win/94-pre-64

I just restored my 94 and used the schematic to help pick and choose parts

Awesome! Is it difficult to disassemble and reassemble? Ive never taken one apart and havent watched any videos just yet.

No not difficult, ziplock bags or small bins #ed so things don’t get mixes up (list and inventory every screw)
When disassembled defoul / scrub the barrel out good
