    338-378 WBY and 250 Accubonds

Anyone loading for this shoulder cannon?

Going to start with IMR7828SSC and see what it will do

I’ve got some 1x fired Weatherby 338-378 brass and some 338cal projectiles leftover from when I had my rifle. Maybe we could trade or something. Let me know if you’re interested.

Read up on a load ,
according to Quickload prediction with 250 Accubond...

        121 gr of RL-33 = 99% case fill = 3,072 fps = 5,239 ft-lbs = 61,593 PSI = 99.5% powder burnt.

But I would start load work up no higher than 110 gr. The Lot of RL-33 I have is much faster burning than QL suggests. I wouldn't be surprised if you start seeing pressure signs between around 116 gr... Only one way to find out “”

Call Thompson Long range. That’s their speciality

If the 250 Accubonds work out for you and you need some more, I’ve got a couple boxes collecting dust along with 3 boxes of 250 gamekings.
            PM me if interested.

I ordered 3 boxes of the 250AB, so we should be good on those if they work out.
