Need to see if BP added a picatinny 20 moa base on top of the receiver for the rings to attach to and installed it backwards. That would explain a lot. On the other hand if this is one of the T3 varmint guns with the weaver style base already milled into the top of the receiver then sum ting wong.

Looks like the front bell of touching the barrel. Move the scope forward til there's daylight between the scope and barrel. If it doesn't clear then you need taller rings.

Looks like the rings are not right height, and IMO the scope shouldn’t be that close to the barrel!

Take the scope cover off & look for daylight like stated...

There was daylight. I added the lens cover after shooting.

Next size up on rings , it looks low and tight squeeze
On my Remington I had problems with brass hitting the scope turret and falling back in and jamming a change of mounts fixed that and helped center the elevation.

I like my scopes low as possible on most hunting rigs...if I got light, I'm happy.

If it were mine, I would swap the rings front to back to see if they had a tolerance issue and/or try another set of rings...if you are still dialed out, then we gotta problem with the scope (try another) or tolerance issues with the action / rail.

Just get a 20moa canted 1 piece rail and be done

It appears that the Warne Tikka rings have a designated front ring that has a recoil pin on the bottom that must be in the slot on top of the receiver. If the rings are reversed then the scope is not level with the receiver since there is no slot at the rear of the receiver for the pin to insert into. Remove the rings by loosening the bottom only screws and check to see if the pin is at the front.
If all is good I would then run the elevation turret all the down and then all the way up and the count the number of clicks from top back to the bottom. then divide by 2 and dial the elevation turret back to that number and start over with bore sighting and zeroing. Use the one shot zero method to save ammo.
If that doesn't work add a good quality picatinny rail base on the receiver(receiver is drilled and tapped already) and go with some good one piece weaver mount rings.

Couple of things. The scope bell looks to be touching the barrel. If touching anywhere the rings need to be taller or the scope moved forward.
Some scope manufactures (Vortex) state that vertical split rings require a specific torque pattern to work correctly. I suspect that wasn't followed at assembly.

If new rings are needed you could add a base with 10 mils of cant. Make sure it goes on the correct way. My Savage has a 20 mil base and I shoot it to 1000 routinely. (not hunting just to be clear) and the scope has plenty of adjustment. You would not need that much in your base.

Think you mean 10/20 MOA base not Mils. 20 mils is a lot. Haha

I took it to Alamo Precision Rifles today to have them look at it. Seems as thought the "new" scope i bought in the classifieds is jacked up. Their gunsmith messed with it and pointed out that the turret on the top for up/down, he moved it all the to the end and it was on 18, then moved it to the right, then all the way back again and it was past 0. Will be calling Sig Monday morning. The only reason I bought it was due to no questions asked warranty. Glad it is transferable.
