Exactly this. When we go to buddies place or somewhere new we always have an adjustable bipod for the rear and just throw whatever in the window up front. It’s rock solid and works great even for my 11 year old. At my place all my stands I have a narrow table against the front of the stand will a Caldwell dead shot sand bag on the table to shoot off of. It’s also rock solid.

This is the ticket right here. Very stable and doesn’t take up as much room as a tripod. If you use a primos trigger stick like T8 mentioned it’s even better because the height is easily adjusted.

I've got a bag for the window sill that I use all the time. I'll get the bipod and let her use it. She's kinda short (5'-1.5") and it seems that every blind chair doesn't fit right and she's got to sit on her leg or something and causes some instability. I'm going to look into a proper size chair and use the bipod. That should stabilize her and give her a little more confidence.

Like I said, at the range and shooting off a front rest and rear bag she put 3 rounds nearly in the same hole. She's been a dead on killer a couple of years and then last year she wounded a couple of hogs and a nice 9 point and kinda lost her confidence. Fortunately we didn't lose the deer and I was able to put him down for good.

        Thanks for the information!!

The bog death grip is bulky but stable
