Best thing to do is get it on paper and zeroed at 25, then move out to 100 and adjust, then do the same at 150--don't believe what you read, believe what you do.

And, good luck with that slugster---

With all due respect, I had to shoot 4-5 different brands, and add in the different lengths, before I found the best pattern for my Ultra slug hunter.

              Lots o sore shoulders.

2.94” high at 25 yards for a 150 yard zero.

Do not forget to aim low 25 to 125 yards,

Do this. It’ll probably save you ammo. Using a bore sight to get on paper at 150 yards with a slug gun is a roll of the dice.

Yep. That's the truth. I've been shooting and hunting with them since the late 1970s.

Get it on paper at 25. Those laser sighters aren't known for being very accurate. You can do better just looking down the side of the barrel at 25, to get it on paper.

Or, if you can get the gun or barrel vised up, look down the inside of the barrel and put the bullseye in the center of the barrel. Then move your crosshairs to it. That should get you on paper.

A few weeks ago I was at the rifle range in San Antonio and they have a 25-100 yd combo setup. I was at the 100 yd range and saw this guy shooting a slug gun. While I was letting my rifles cool down, I asked the guy what he was shooting and he explained how he sighted the scope in. He said he likes to be about 2 in high at 25 and it puts it pretty much on the money at 100. Please don’t take this a fact for your situation, but it worked well for him. Honestly I was surprised how accurate the slugs were at 100. Just looking through the provided spotting scope, I would say it looked like about a 2 in or so group. Now again the slugs make a pretty big hole in the paper, but definitely minute of deer. Good luck with your slugs and hope you get a good one with them.
