    Any Luger Experts Here?

Picked up several guns from an estate a couple weeks ago and ended up with 7 DWM Lugers, an Astra M-900 and a Nambu Type 14 (plus another damaged Nambu 94). I don’t know anything about these or what makes them worth more or less than other Lugers and was hoping someone more knowledgeable would be willing to give some advice.

Really like the Lugers but the Broomhandle will most likely be worth most money.

Wow that's a sweet find. what makes is matching #'s, eagle stamps and armorers stamps I.E. WAA 140. you can date the origin, date of manufacture, and even the armorers name. pretty neat stuff. import marks devalue some. no import marks are soldier bring backs they where allowed 1, from what I was told. The army gave them paperwork on them as well. nice find

            Thanks!

Offhand I know one has Eagle stamps. Others are marked 1912, 1916, 1917, 1920 and one shows “police 1920”. Believe a couple have no stamps and a couple have Germany stamped on them. Will have to do a more thorough inspection and photos when I have time best week.

Again I am no expert but I traded an antique boat motor ( I had $250 in it) to a guy that just had to have it. I told him it's not for sale 3 times!!! He said how about a trade, what ya got.He goes to his truck and comes back with a Browning Hi Power with Eagles all over, armorer stamps in about 5 places no import marks, It even had the original mag. I told him what he had and the value. He said I don't care I want that motor. Well the motor left here quick.I snatched it up and had in the back of his truck in about 3 seconds.
The thing about those guns is EVERY little mark means SOMETHING. What that might be requires research. For the collector of condition is first. Proving it was indeed a WW2 issue piece is big to them as well. As always Google is your friend and there are many Experts out there. This as about the extent of my knowledge.I wouldn't even think about selling anything until I new Exactly what I had. My $0.02 good luck
