Colt 1902 Military Automatic

Picked up a bunch of guns from a local estate today and thought this was one of the more interesting pieces and worth sharing. Serial number 38257 indicates it was born in 1915. Obviously some wear but appears original (to my untrained eye) and less than I’d expect for a 106 year old pistol.

That pistola has not been refinished. Roll marks are way too sharp. That’s a nice find for sure.

I wasn’t even aware that those pre-1911s were made in .22 caliber. That’s a new one on me.

Yes sir, 38 Auto or 38 ACP same thing. Not 38 Super or .380 ACP tho, there needs to be less .38 calibers.
