Rifle range around Round Rock?

In a couple weeks we’re going to Round Rock to visit my son. He recently bought a new rifle and wants me to help him sight it in. Wondering what our options are for a public rifle range that’s not too far away.

It's a bit of a longer driver for you, but I would encourage you to check out The Range. It's a super nice facility, and I've shot there numerous times.

I use eagle peek to sight in/check zero or go to a buddies place.
Went to point blank yesterday to pick up a suppressor (after 7.5 mo wait) yesterday. Place was a mad house. Nice guy waited on me. I asked if sales are going crazy with constitutional carry coming. He said, in his words “lots of folks that have no business owning much less shooting pistols are buying like crazy”. I support constitutional carry by the way.

Reds in Pflugerville has a 100 yard range. Why do you think that is a waste of time?

Eagles peak is good but keep in mind no FMJ allowed on the rifle range.

Reds in Pflugerville has a 100 yard indoor range. It’s easy to sight in a new optic even if you have to start at 25 yards to get on paper. Targets are push button retrievable so no spotting scope needed. Also, no wind to consider.

If you have to go to reds I’d try to be there as soon as they opened.

I shot rifles in reds once never having been to an indoor range before. Wasn’t my thing.
