What Gen Glock do I Have?

I saw guides online explaining how to figure it out but apparently I'm slow 'cause that didn't help. Anyone?

3 is my guess.

From what I read, gen 4 and gen 5 have it engraved/stamped on left side.
Gen 2 does not have finger grooves.

I’m going with 3.

Gen 1,2 and 5 have no grooves. 3 and 4 have grooves. 4 has extra back straps you can swap out. 4 and 5 will be marked.

Then there are number of pins or pin placement. Also there are 2 models of gen 3

After looking on Gun Broker, I'm thinking 3 also. I should've done that first. The guides I found online just confused me more.
