Stupid ammo question.

I normally shoot 140 gr Hornady Lever Evolution. But I'm down to one box and cant find any, obviously.

I know you shouldn't shoot pointed ammo in a tube gun, or at least that's what I thought.

But I've seen some .357 listed occassionally and want to make sure it's safe before jumping on it.

What's a normal .357 lever gun round?

I have lots of .38 spl but don't really want to shoot them either.

Owners manual link. It doesn't address your question but I won't shoot round nose in mine unless they are round nose flat point, like a standard 30-30 round.
