Well, this may be of no help. But, I bought my dad and my son each a Ruger Go Wild rifle in 7mm08. They are great shooting rifles and they look good too. The muzzlebrake isn't necessarily needed with a 7mm08,
but it helps to make follow up shots a little quicker, and no sense taking a beating if you don't need to. I would be willing to bet the 300WIN MAG shoots great too and the muzzlebrake will make the shooting experience a little more pleasant.

Just bought one in 30.06. Looking forward to sighting it in. Went with a Burris 4.5-14×42

Buds Gun Shop has them in stock-find an FFL and ships for free. To be fair I have no idea how they shoot, but I have had good luck with the Ruger guns.

My son has that same gun in .308 and it is a tack driver

Have one in 6.5 Cred, I put it in a Magpul stock and it shoots lights out!

Not a go-wild, but I have a Predator in 308. Same action/trigger and I think barrel.

It’s a great shooter. The stock leaves a little to be desired, but does fine. The trigger is great, I did a little polishing on the sear and swapped the weight adjustment spring and can make it uncomfortably light. Shot sub MOA groups with factory ammo, and tightened up more with my handloads.
