Walk me through how to SBR AR

Leaving Politics out of it, how would I go about legally SBRing an AR lower. I have an un built AR lower that I would like to SBR. Does someone have a step by step guide on how to do it?

And does anyone recommend someone to engrave the lower around Katy?

Fill out form 1 with your info, prints, pics, $200 check. Send to ATF.

Engrave lower with your trust name and address or individual name and address.

e file..... Form 1 is the only way to go.

I just got a form 1 approved for a 22 lr can and submitted for a SBR (converting a pistol to a SBR)
The above post has very good links on e filing form 1 been taking about 30 days for many.

i have 3 SBRs, and they only say the name of my trust, and DALLAS, TX

it should be noted, the engraving is not the address where the NFA item currently lives, but just notating the city in which it was manufactured.

i had mine done at a watch/jewelry repair place at the mall here in dallas, i forget the name at the moment but the same guy engraved my 3, years apart. was able to pull up the same same font size and positioning from the computer, to make sure they looked exactly the same.
