    Don't do it ... over rpm will cause 2x the damage. And if you shoot a can it probably will have extra hole in it after bullet blows up. Stick with the 105 vld around 3050 and it works wonders on dogs.

        Anybody shoot deer with those 87 Vmax or do they splash if they hit a rib? Have some of them as well as 100 gr Interbonds.

          I have, plenty of hogs as well. I’ve personally never had a problem on bigger game with the 87. A .243 with the 87 vmax is what rides with me everyday feeding cows and working on my place, it’s been a good combination for me.

            Have you considered the Barnes 80 gr TTSX? That is what I run in my 243 Win.
