Im also thinking about a custom from APR or jumping on the tbh build this year depending on what it comes down to.

The ridge Sp does look like an excellent option- I can't seem to find it on their website, maybe it was discontinued ? (or I'm not looking in the right spot).

I’d jump on the 6.5 myself.
I’m secure enough in my manhood not to worry about the name callers [emoji51].

I currently have 3 of each, so it’s not that I don’t like the .308.
I’ve just grown to like the 6.5 more.

I’ll leave the why’s out so I don’t start some great caliber debate. One hint lies in my initial reply. ^

Great can choice! Shooting suppressed on a gas gun is sweet, but shooting a suppressed bolt gun is just that much sweeter..

If you are trying to stay in a lower budget range, I've been very impressed with the Ruger American Ranch as a suppressor host. 16" threaded, nice medium profile barrels. They're definitely rough around the edges, but they're shooters.

I went the 7.62x39 route. Cheaper ammo, cheaper subs, and it shoots sub MOA. 3 deer taken with the Barnaul Soft Point this season, performed very well.

I'd also look into running the Q Plan B as a "QD" mount over the Keymo. You'll save about 7 oz and an inch of length vs running a keymo/DA FH or MB. I run this on my Nomad L and really enjoy it.

I have been looking at the "cheaper" guns and heard alot of great stuff about them. I'm not sure how I'm going to set it up just yet. All my other rifles are old wood stock 700 bdl rifles besides the 8mm. I don't want to thread them so for right now just going to have one gun set up suppressed ill use when the kids are with me. I thought about a QD system and might go that way whenever I buy another threaded rifle to use it on.

Dead air just launched something similar, their “Xeno” adapter and mount. Not live on their site yet but you can find some info online.
