If it’s the Hornady ELD-M then it’s good for hunting. It’s the same as the A-MAX.
If it’s any other 6.5 match ammo, I seriously doubt it’s good for whitetail.

I have never bought the match ammo, but the best price I could find on the Precision Hunter before this mess was $34, so with everything going on, I didn't think $40 was too bad, but after shipping & taxes, it kind of made a small purchase not doable. I didn't happen to pick up a box of the 6.5Cm ELD-M at a local gun shop today, they were asking $39.99 a box
