I have an AAC SD-6 and just got an omega out. The omega is much lighter but I havent been able to shoot it. The AAC is great on the 223 and 300blk and the omega will live on a 6.5 and 7.08.

Like others I cant imagine going back to not having one. And get a .30, wait a few months if funds dont allow it and get a .22. One simply aint enough.

My trust was free from the dealer and Im perfectly fine with that

Some of my guns are spotter barrels and kills me I can’t shoot them suppressed. I do love the fact that you can hear the thump when you hit, and the game animals just stand there and seem confused. Always nice for follow up shots. Add subsonic rounds and might be able to clean up a hole pig clan before they realize what’s going down.

Haha.....I did too. Just got the email today that it has shipped to my FFL. Now the wait begins. This is my second Resonator. Good suppressors.

          Question for suppressor users

I built my own via F1. It’s 7.5” long and 1.5” diameter. It weighs just a tad over 12oz and it’s all titanium with the exception of 2 17-4 stainless heat treated blast baffles. It makes my 16” 6.8spc sound like a 22rf rifle even when fired under a tin roof.

You can shoot a can on a spotter barrel, just don’t hang a 20+ oz can off the end of it. I have a Rem 700 mountain rifle in 260 that I shoot my YHM titanium can on.

Plenty of good choices. I have two Ruggeds, a Radiant and Razor and a Silencerco Spectre II.
              Rugged makes a great can.
For a trust call a good attorney and get it done right one time. Jim Willi will take care of you fast and his trusts are bulletproof and have a lot of nice features.

It is not for sitting in a deer stand.

Bowhunting aside. If it’s his money spend it for him? I have a Dead Air Sandma-S, Q-Trash Panda and a Surefire Socom I would like to get rid of.

As long as I don't go telling him where and where he can't use it, List it, don't forget a price.

How do you get that suppressor to attach to the bow? I mean this is a bow hunting site right? Or does it go.on the arrow???

If you are serious post them in the classifieds with a price. I’d like to see what you have and what you want for them.

what's everyone's opinion on the Dead Air Nomad-L?
how does it fair against the Omega?

Smokes it. The Nomad 30 is the direct competition for the Omega, and the Nomad beats the Omega in every category but weight. Even then it’s within an ounce. Durability and suppression are both a large improvement. The Nomad L is the longer version for even quieter performance. However longer does equal more weight. Personally I like the Nomad 30 better as I don’t care about ultimate suppression. I do however care about weight, length, durability, and overall performance.

That said the Omega isn’t a bad can. If you can find one on sale they’re still a good value. I however would not pay retail for one at all.
